Most jurors do not understand judges

Most jurors do not understand judges

Of course !!!

Many Barristers struggle, and we listen very closely....here lies the best chance to influence the Jury and to also find grounds for appeal if the Judge deliberately or by accident strays into favouritism.

The charge is very carefully nuanced and every word has a purpose but but but to the lay man or woman it is dense complex and obtuse.

Who sits on a Jury in the UK?

In Ireland there is always a furious struggle to get out of this duty.
