The Irish Criminal Assets Body has had a very high level of success in moving against criminals and sizing and realising their assets. in every way, as a deterrent, a punishment and as a revenue generating exercise this has been one of the major success stories of Irish Policing, and rather more effective than the system in Britain which is managed by a number of different agencies.
