This is jaw dropping, I hope that there is a full investigation by the police and the full rigours of the criminal justice system are brought into play.

  1. This is more than jaw dropping.

    It sounds suspiciously like an application of the "pathway to death" reported in the press some months ago where withdrawal od water was justified as an acceptable practice with termially ill patients.

    This case must be opened fully to public scrutity and NOT passed off as "lazy" nursing. ALL and ANY relevant documentation must be made available.

  2. If it is a policy then it has become homicide, if the intent is more than mere reckless endangerment it could well be murder, Corporate manslaughter is also a crime in the UK, this is a serious allegation, and may be well founded.
